Submit an AV Event Request 

Use this procedure to submit an Audio Visual (AV) Event Support request through the ETO Portal

Begin on the Educational Technologies page of the UVA School of Education and Human Development Intranet.


Submit an AV Event Support Request

  1. Click Submit A Ticket.
  2. Click Home.

    If available, you can also select Service Requests from the navigation menu.

  3. Click SERVICE CATALOG.

    You may also find this option in the navigation menu.

  4. Click AV Event Support.
  5. Complete the required event information.
    1. Enter the event title.
    2. Enter the primary contact for the event.
    3. Enter the Computing ID of the primary contact.
  6. Complete the event scheduling information.
    1. Select the event location.
    2. Select the event date.
    3. Select the event start time.
    4. Select the appropriate start time option.
  7. Select whether a loaner laptop is needed.
  8. Select Additional Equipment Needed.

    Note: Hold the Control key (Windows) or Command key (Mac) to select multiple items.

  9. Select Event Type.

    Note: Hybrid meetings include participants joining through Zoom.

  10. Complete the presenter information.
    1. Select Presenter Type.
    2. If the presenter is a guest of UVA, review the Guest WiFi Registration Information.
  11. Provide any additional presenter or event information.
    1. Select Presenter Type.
    2. Enter any additional details that may help Educational Technologies Office staff prepare for the event.
    3. Note: Include all hardware requirements so support staff can arrive with the necessary equipment.
  12. Click Place Request.

    You will receive a confirmation email after the request is submitted successfully.


After You Submit the Request

Educational Technologies Office staff will review the request and contact the primary contact if additional information is required.
